The FAST experiment - Fast 4

The day of the Fast:

So im back on it! Ish ^_^

I had some last minute plan changes that resulted in me having to stay at my sisters place. Anyone that knows me can tell you... My sisters sweet stash is impossible for me to resist!

That Crunchie bar fell into my mouth. Honestly!

Aside from that i went 25 hours without food and i got in a very heavy deadlift session with tonnes of accessory work. Didnt even need pre workout!

The day after:

Im not too hungry as im writing this (Still 8 hours of work to go) but i will break the fast with a soup and some scrambled eggs added as i feel like the heavy gym session requires some protein added in.

My thoughts:

  • Im back on drinking lots and lots of water and ive been adding BCAAS in

  • Since binging over christmas the hunger waves and cravings have been pretty bad.... My body is demanding sugar :O

  • My workout was AMAZING today ... Hitting deadlifts at 5x3 for 112.5kg and lots of volume lifts after (Leg extension, hamstring curl, calve raises, aductor, abductor)

  • Ended my workout with a game of squat catches with a 4kg sand ball. Running around throwing it at my gym buddy and catching it in squat position. A great way to get in some fun cardio. We broke this up with some heavy farmer carry laps with some lunges thrown in. Still have plenty of energy left!

Changes:

  • No more crunchies!
