The day of the Fast:
At 6pm on 17/12/2016 i ate my last meal... Honestly, ive had a bad tooth ache for the duration of this fast and i couldnt have eaten even if i wanted too. So i guess that made things a lot easier.
My hunger was non existent but im not sure that i because i was handling the fast any better.
When it was time to eat towards the end i still wasnt eating much. I had a protein shake after my workout and i was done.
I did opt to do a regular workout during this Fast though.
I spent around 2 hours lifting after stating with 85% of my max for squats and moving onto a super high voulme and heavy leg day. I still felt pretty revved up by the end of my workout so i threw in some good old accessory work for my Shoulders to get them moving with some light weights.
Whilst i didnt do cardio i DID get in a core circuit that jacked my heart rate up pretty high.
All in all i had a great workout and my energy didnt dip at all. The only thing that took away from how much fun i was having was my bad tooth!
I havent weighed myself since the start but so far i cant ''see'' much change.
The day after:
Wasnt super hungry but likely due to my tooth hurting and putting me off eating.
My thoughts:
Im drinking a lot more water than normal and this helps with hunger.
As suspected my gym session was not affected by lack of food.
Increasing my fruit and veg intake has greatly improved by digestive capacity!
Waves of hunger have become much less frequent.
Still very focused when im Fasting.
Throughout the day i consumed around 5 pints of water.
Changes:
If i feel good and healthy i will push past the 24 hour mark. Hopefully not just because i have tooth ache!
I plan on Fasting twice a week for a month. I havent been tracking my non fast days but it does seem to affect how often im hungry on those days.
